My son jumped in the pool with the iPod in his pocket. After a couple days, it turned on and worked fine. Now, the screen has gone dim. You can see the wallpaper in the background when you push the home button.
Other than water damage, it is in perfect condition. No scratches on screen. Normal small scratches on back.
Screen actually works when low battery sign comes on. But too dim to see when fully charged and trying to use.

Hello, for sale are two iPod touches for repair. The first one on the left is a iPod touch 2nd generation 8gb. It had a cracked screen but worked fine, I took it apart to replace it but never got around to putting it back together and lost the new LCD. It has been sitting for a while. The one on the right is an iPod touch 1st gen 16gb. It suffered liquid damage but I put it in rice for a week and it booted back on. When it turns on it is dim but the touch screen doesn't work on the bottom part but it does play music through a speaker. Powers up. Not sure what generation it is. Could be 2nd Or 3rd gen. Touch screen i broke And Now doesnt respond to touch. Back is scratchless. Or 9/10. Screen is 1/10.As is. All You need is new digitizer. But i dont wasnt to make any guarantees so as is.

They are in decent shape the 4th generation iPod is the one with the cracked screen works fine just needs a new screen. The 2nd generation one turns on but the screen doesn't respond to touch all the time it had been dropped in some water. Email if you have any further questions
