Dell Axim X51v Pda And Accessories

For sale, barely used Dell Axim X51v Pocket PC device (PDA). Also, included are several accessories.

This was the last Pocket PC device Dell made and it was a beauty. I purchased the device about 5 years ago when it first came out. A very nice alternative to the Ipod’s. For one thing, this device, unlike the Apple products, has its own file system; just plug it into your computer with the included dock/cradle, and transfer your windows files back and forth. Device comes with its own version of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel built in. The Windows Mobile 5.0 OS that runs on this device also allows for multitasking (apps stay open in the background until you close them). Can beam documents from device to a pc using the infrared. No camera (sorry). I find certain apps run much faster on this than on an iPod Touch (e.g., Leonard Maltin movie guide, Merriam Webster dictionary). I also find there are more apps for the PC that have been cross-platformed to the pocket pc. Or maybe it is just the apps I like/need. Device has its own version of windows media player and will play numerous audio and video formats. Screen is beautiful (but not as good as an Ipod I admit) and has its own built in external audio speaker (as well as of course a headphone jack). Will sync with MS Outlook email, calendar, and contacts. Device also has wifi and Bluetooth built in as well as voice recorder (unlike, again, some of the iPod devices). I have heard reports that this device has been successfully upgraded to the new Windows Mobile 6.1, but I have not tried it. Still many, many apps available for the pocket pc devices. I am seeing new prices around $185 and used prices around $155 and this is with none of extras I have here (SD card, extended battery, aluminum case)

I am selling my used Sansa E250 with an armband, a pair of white earbuds, and the USB cable. I only used it when working out and I no longer work out. There are minor scratches on the screen and the screen intermittently does not display even though the wheel works and the music plays without an issue. May be a possible bug with the latest firmware from Sansa. I was never ever able to reproduce or fix the problem. Never had an issue playing music as I jogged with it. The screen would turn black with the music playing and the buttons being fully functional and then display properly intermittently.
